This view is for attorneys, paralegals, and staff who report Fannie Mae foreclosure and bankruptcy events through the DRA website.

Your account comes from your firm’s user administrator, through Fannie Mae’s Technology Manager. If you can’t sign in, ask your user administrator first. See Getting an account.

If your case management system exports a legacy Fannie Mae events file, you can upload it as is:

  1. Sign in to DRA.
  2. Go to Landing Pages > Default Reporting.
  3. Open the Import File tab.
  4. Drag your events file onto the area labeled Drag and Drop DR Legacy Events.

The file must be an Excel workbook (.xlsx) or a delimited text file (.csv or .txt), and its name must contain Events, with a capital E. mylawfirm.Events.2026-10-01.csv works; mylawfirm.events.csv and mylawfirm.Events.xls don’t. The full rules are in File naming.

Once dropped, the file is queued for import. Most files finish within a few minutes.

For a one-off event or a correction, you don’t need a file. You can enter an individual event directly in the DRA web interface. The entry form asks for the details that event needs, and the entry is validated before it is accepted, just as a row in a file would be.

Every submission, whether you uploaded it, your firm sent it by sFTP, or your system sent it through the API, appears on Landing Pages > Default Reporting > Import Files:

  • The list shows each file and the number of events it reported.
  • Click a file to open its detail panel, where you can download the original file you sent.
  • Open the Logging panel and choose Show Failed Items to see only the rows that failed, with the reason for each.

Fix the failed rows in your source system and send them again.

DRA shows fewer events than my file had rows. There are two usual reasons:

  • Repeated events. If the same event is reported for the same loan more than once in one file, only the last one is kept. For example, two rows ending the same delay on the same loan, with different details, produce one event carrying the details from the second row.
  • Failed rows. Invalid rows aren’t counted. Check Show Failed Items in the file’s log.

A file I sent is missing from Import Files. Files with no EVENT rows aren’t listed.

The servicer on the loan summary isn’t what we sent. DRA takes servicer details from Fannie Mae’s data feed, not from attorney submissions. Servicer code, servicer name, servicer loan number, investor servicer ID, and the property state, county, country, and primary-residence fields are kept on your event but not shown on the loan summary.

Mostly, no. DRA works out a case’s status from the dates on its events. If one file reports a file closing dated June 1 and a delay ending May 31, the case is closed, because June 1 is later, whichever row came first. The exception is the repeated-event rule above: when the same event appears twice in one file, the later row wins.

As often as you like. A file with a single event is fine, and events are processed in near-real time. Unique file names aren’t required, but a date or time stamp in the name makes your history easier to read.
