Every document in QBO belongs to a record (a contact, an organization, a process, a ledger), so it is always found, secured, and reported on in context. Document Management covers the whole life of a document:
- Imaging: upload, store, view, and download documents, in whatever storage you choose (Amazon S3, Azure, sFTP, a network share, and more).
- Generation: create letters, notices, packages, and data files from QBO data using templates.
- Movement: copy, transfer, or move documents between storage locations, and watch folders for new files.
- Processing: zip and unzip, convert to PDF, extract text (OCR), classify with AI, and track revisions.
