Attach to anything
A case attaches to any record — a customer, an account, a property, a claim, a study — so work is always found in context.

QBO Platform · Case management software
QBO’s case management attaches a case to any record. Opening it starts its workflow and cost ledger, and until it closes, the case holds its documents, tasks, decisions, and parties.
What it does
A case attaches to any record — a customer, an account, a property, a claim, a study — so work is always found in context.
Opening a case launches the right workflow and cost ledger automatically. Rules can choose which workflow and ledger to use from the case’s data.
Steps start the moment their prerequisites are met, so independent work proceeds at the same time. Branches, waits, child workflows, and calls to any system operation are all steps.
Every step carries a duration — in hours, days, or business days — measured from a date that matters, and projected dates recalculate as the case moves.
Put a case on hold with a reason and a form. Failed steps are flagged with a trace ID and can be re-queued; stalled steps are found and restarted.
Templates can require a final status, close cases automatically, and cancel any open work when a case closes.
Each case tracks its owning organization and person, the client, and the vendor doing the work, with contracts that define which vendors handle which case types.
Weighted matrix rules choose workflows, pricing, and assignments; business rules validate every save and stop bad data at the door.
