Military status (SCRA and MLA)
SCRA and MLA violations are costly, visible, and usually preventable.
- Military status is checked before every action the SCRA restricts: rate changes, collection, default judgment, repossession, foreclosure, and eviction.
- Checks can be run as of the date that matters (origination, filing, or sale date), not only today.
- Name variations and aliases are searched, so a keyed-in name doesn’t cause a missed match.
- The DoD status certificate for each check is kept with the account or case.
